ARTIST

Abstract painting based on internal landscapes.

SINGER/SONGWRITER

Recorded three CD albums of traditional and contempory acoustic music. Performed at the Cellar Door, Casino Royal, and Basins Top of the Walk in Washington DC. Lead singer for The Villagers 1961-63 and performed on stage with Leo Kottke and Hoyt Axton. Most recent concerts in Wisconsin at Cafe Carpe in Fort Atkinson, Linnemens, the Broadway Theater and the Coffee House in Milwaukee.

Terrence James Coffman: Songs from Center Avenue Studio, a CD of original songs and music recorded in 2008 at Independent Studios in Milwaukee WI and distributed by Center Avenue Studio, Jefferson, WI. The album includes Coffman's moving tribute to his father, Handsome Man and other original compositions about family lovers an outlaw and a dog named Blue.

Terrence James Coffman: Goodnight Betoe (retitled), a CD of songs and music by contemporary singer/songwriters and traditional old time ballads recorded in 1997 at Independent Studios in Milwaukee WI. The album was re-released in 2007 and is distributed by Center Avenue Studio, Jefferson, WI.

Terrence James Coffman: Live at the Coffee House was recorded October 25 2008 at Milwaukee's historical coffee house. The album includes cover songs by Dylan, Tom Russell, Kate Wolf, Michael Smith and Don Mclean as well as several of Coffman's original tunes including Buckeystown Summer Moon, Fireflies In Her Hair, and his moving tribute to his father, Handsome Man.
